If you are switching from liquid to powder, this product offers similar coverage: โ€œThis lightweight foundation covers like a liquid and mattifies like a powder with no cakey look,โ€ adds Makeup.com.

Do you have dry skin? College Fashion points out, โ€œThis foundation actually works well on drier skin types. The key is to blend, blend, blend to avoid caking.โ€

2. bareMinerals ORIGINAL Loose Powder Foundation SPF 15

And you don’t have to be a makeup pro to use this powder. Byrdie writes: โ€œbareMinerals does a really great job of giving you clear instructions for how to apply the Original Loose Powder Foundationโ€”you collect the product by swirling your brush into the powder, tap off any excess product, and then use circular motions to buff it into your skin. These straightforward instructions leave little-to-no room for error, which means anyone can apply this product and achieve a filtered finish.โ€

However, BestReviews points out that it โ€œcan be a bit difficult to find the perfect matching color, especially if your skin tone is light. May feel dry if you already have very dry skin.โ€

3. KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Powder Foundation

IPSY calls it the best powder foundation for oily skin, adding, โ€œIt’s packed with white kaolin clay, which is known for its oil-absorbing powers. The proof lies in the ingredients. โ€œWander Beautyโ€™s Wanderlust Powder Foundation is talc-free and formulated with hydrating ingredients like aloe leaf extract. That said, it isnโ€™t overly mattifying, which makes it a good option for dry skin,โ€ according to Essence.

I have tried most of these items and was not impressed. I changed to a tinted moisturizer with SPF and Laura Geller baked foundation. I see better results.
